• Easily accessible — staying in the conference hotel means less travel time, since you are already where you are supposed to be each morning, plus if you need a few minutes to yourself your room is only an elevator ride away.
• Support — should you encounter any issues with your stay the ASEH staff can support you in resolving them with the hotel.

Conference Rate

ASEH has negotiated the following discounted hotel rates per night*:

• Student Rate: $175 single/double**
• Regular Rate $189 single/double

Rates do not include the current sales tax of 16.00%.   

**There is a limited number of student-rated hotel rooms. You must be a student to take advantage of this option. ASEH will compare these reservations against the conference registration database to confirm your career stage so please be considerate.

The contracted rate is good until either the room block sells out or until Friday, March 5, 20276. Availability and rates cannot be guaranteed once the room block is sold out or after this date.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is 4:00pm and Check-out is 11:00pm. Early check-in and late check-out requests will be based on hotel availability.

Airport Information

The closest airport is the Richmond International Airport (RIC). RIC is located approximately 7 Miles (10 – 20 minutes) from the hotel.

Transfer options from the Richmond International Airport (RIC) to the Richmond Marriott are:     

• Taxi approximately $30 - $40 one way
• Uber/Lyft – approximately $25 one way

Amtrak

• Closest Station:  Main Street Station (RVM) is about 1 mile from the hotel, with an estimated 5–10 minute ride via Lyft or Uber, or roughly a 20-minute walk.
• Larger Station: Staples Mill Road Station (RVR) is located about 6-7 miles northwest of downtown. This is a larger station with more train routes. It does require an approximate 15 to 20-minute Lyft or Uber transfer to the hotel

ASEH has contracted with the Richmond Marriott Hotel for the 2027 Annual Conference. The leadership would like to stress the importance of making your reservation within the officiallycontracted ASEH hotel block. ASEH receives concessions as part of the hotel contract by committing to a certain number of hotel room nights. These concessions allow ASEH the ability to offer lower registration rates and keep the conference registration fees affordable. ASEH encourages all participants to register for the meeting and reserve a room within the official room block. In doing so, you are not only supporting the 2027 Annual Conference but also the overall financial stability of the ASEH organization.
