Queer @ EH |
Queer@EH is group that started at the ASEH conference in Eugene in 2022 and has been growing since to build visibility and solidarity among queer/LGBTQA+-identifying scholars working across the environmental humanities. To get involved and learn about future events, fill out this quick form. Please also share it with colleagues who might be interested in joining as well. We are open to all fields, periods, and geographies across the environmental humanities. For specific questions, feel free to reach out to Queer@EH organizers and ASEH members Paul G. Nauert (pnauert@eou.edu) or Anna Lehr Mueser (amueser@sas.upenn.edu). | Note from the organizers Queer@EH is a space for queer/LGBTQA+ identifying scholars to gather, share ideas, and make space for social and intellectual community. We meet on zoom once or twice a semester, to talk about our work and lives, challenges and celebrations, and plans for current and future work in environmental history and the environmental humanities. We also collaborate with and support the work of CODIE. Queer@EH typically holds an informal lunch or drinks-and-snacks at the ASEH annual conference, where we can meet fellow queer EH scholars, talk about our work and experiences being queer/LGBTQA+ in our fields, and have a good time. To join the mailing list and hear about upcoming virtual or in-person gatherings, please sign up here . |
