Join us for "Teaching Place-Based Environmental History: A Collaborative, Primary Source Approach," facilitated by Paul Sabin (Yale University) and Kirke Elsass (Yale Environmental Humanities).

Description: Join Paul Sabin and Kirke Elsass for a conversation about their experiences creating primary source collections, a digital atlas, and curricular materials to help K-12 educators in New Haven, CT teach local environmental history. Attendees also will share ways that environmental historians living and teaching in other places have taught and made available their own local environmental history.  The session will conclude with a discussion about how to expand on these efforts.

Learn more about the New Haven Environmental History Project and explore the New Haven Digital Atlas online.
