Roundtable with publisher (The White Horse Press) and two volume editors:
Onur Inal, editor of Seeds of Power
Nicholas Breyfogle, editor of Place and Nature
William Beinart, editor of Wild Things
Discuss the practicalities, pleasures and pitfalls of putting together a multi-authored book, with the publisher of numerous well-received edited collections and editors of three such volumes. Brief presentation by Sarah Johnson (in charge of commissioning for The White Horse Press) and discussion with volume editors, opening into Q&A with attendees. Discussion will cover every stage, from turning a conference or symposium into a successful book proposal to the logistics of dealing with multiple authors and the publisher to produce your collection to the best of its potential, whether as a print book, an Open Access volume, or both.
