Event Description
Round table about the White Horse Press's exciting new open access journal, Plant perspectives. With the editor, deputy editor, two associate editors and board members: panellists John Ryan, Isis Brook, Julia Fine, Diego Molina, Jayson Porter and Sumana Roy will present about this interdisciplinary forum for plant humanities; the initial call for papers will be shared and there will be lots of opportunity for planty discussion - we encourage input from practitioners, activists and those engaged in public plant-based activities as well as from scholars. Attendance
See description above - we would really like to open the garden gates here and talk with plant people who are not necessarily in the academy, though of course this journal speaks strongly to environmental historians
